The Sportsman is a pub full of character and charm set in the quiet village of Sholden just 2 miles away from the town of Deal. The Public house itself is a small but friendly place to enjoy good home cooked meal's fine wines and well kept Real ale's, and on a hot day why not bring the family along to our impeccable Beer Garden with all the facilities for a family to dine out.

The Sportsman was first constructed in the reign of Charles II around 1684 and re-altered throughout the centuries to allow for the design and space the Pub/restaurant has today. Regretless at present we are unable to allow children under the age of 14 in to the main building due to licensing law's.
